*Knock Knock*

Sometimes the simplest thing can spark an idea for a topic to write about in this blog... I'm a quiet, private person. I like my privacy, even though I have a husband and 3 kids whom don't give me much of it. I'm also one of those people who does not like it when people show up unexpectedly. You know what I'm talking about; you are in the middle of doing dishes, have water all over and a mess to deal with in the kitchen and you hear the "Knock knock". CRAP! The house is a disaster, there are toys everywhere, the dog puked on the floor and I didn't take the time to clean it up yet because I was in the middle of dishes, and now someone is here? Eeeeek! Do I hide and pretend like I'm not here? That's difficult to do when you have 3 kids running around yelling, "Someone's at the door!". Can't hide then, unless I want them to think that I leave my children home by themselves?

I freak out easily when it comes to people being in my house. I'm not a clean freak by any means. I don't like to clean, and I get pissed off when I spend all day cleaning and the little brats ruin it within the first hour! I get paranoid when someone else comes into MY house. Everything has to be perfect. Every piece of paper has to be in the trash, every toy has to be put away, and every ounce of dust has to be wiped away, OH and the house has to smell delicious. I have to have some sort of candles lit or air freshener around.

So yeah, I really hate it when people show up unexpectedly. I know there are a lot of people who are just out and about and think, "Oh, I wonder if so and so is home? Let's stop by". I don't like to be interrupted. I may be working (since I work at home) or doing homework, or doing chores around the house. I want to look presentable to anyone who comes over unless it would be my old best friend who has seen me at my worse. I also don't like to just drop in on other people, even when friends say, "stop over any time, I'm always home!". Even if I'm only a block away, I will call or text them just to make sure they are not in the middle of something. I don't want to be a bother!

Do you welcome unexpected company? Or do you like notice when someone is going to stop by??

I, as well, am not a clean freak by nature. But I do like to present a nice house hold because I'm not a scum sucking bottom feeder that doesn't give a shit. No, I give a shit. And smell, is about my only OCD quality.. I have been known to cry over bad smells, I kid you the eff not. So I can def relate to that.
