Marriage Means Nothing!

Here we go with another marriage down the tubes after only a couple of weeks. Sinead O'Conner just ended her 18 day marriage. What the fuck? Is it all of the sudden cool to just marry anyone and then get divorced a few days later? Is it funny? Or are people just that fucking stupid?? If your marriage ends within a few days or even a few weeks, obviously shit was wrong BEFORE you got married and if you still got married, you are a dumbass and get what you deserve!

I've been married for over 8 years, and it has definitely had its difficult moments. Marriage is something that is intended to be forever, but it typically doesn't happen that way; it's very rare if it does. Since when did marriage become just a literal piece of paper? My husband has a cousin who is in her late 20s and on her 4th husband. FOURTH! Are people just fucking idiots or what? You decide to marry every guy you date longer than a week? Then all of the sudden you decide, hey, wait, I don't like being around this person every day, I better go find someone else to marry?! If your marriage can't even last a month, then obviously you didn't hold up your end of the bargain. There is no way in Hell that you could have "tried everything" within a few weeks and then just decide, "oh well."

I've watched that Kardashian show one time. I don't care about any of those twats, but after their divorce announcement, I wanted to see what was going on. Her husband is obviously a big ogre of an ass, but I'm 100% sure he was probably the same ogre of an ass before their wedding day. That just makes HER look like an idiot.

My husband and I have separated twice. One thing I remember, the first time we split up, was some advice I read online. It said that people jump into divorce too quickly and that you should not file divorce papers until you can honestly tell your children that you tried everything, AND you can walk away from the marriage with a clean conscience and no emotions for your spouse any longer. People give up too easily. When I got married, I meant the promises that I made. I know people change and things change with time, but you can't give up that easily.

Love, Live, Respect, Death. I will LOVE you through LIFE and RESPECT you through DEATH... My husband and I's matching tattoo.

No! You Are NOT a Diva!

I absolutely despise the word "diva". I hate it when women call themselves a Diva, and I really hate it when people call their daughters a diva. The simple word "diva" annoys the shit out of me, and why do so many women choose to call themselves a diva? To me, a diva is someone who thinks she needs to wear 10 lbs of make up every day, has to have her hair "did" (that annoys me, too, btw) every week, her eyebrows have to be perfect, her clothing has to be perfect, her shoes have to be perfect, she thinks SHE is perfect, even though she is obviously NOT perfect if it takes all of this lame crap to make herself look that way!! A diva is also a materialistic bitch that thinks she doesn't have to lift a finger to work, that she is owed everything, and is better than everyone else. Why would anyone want to be that way? A diva is the type of person who I would like to punch in the throat and pull her fake weave off of her head!!

I did a search on Photobucket for the word "Diva" to try to find a good graphic to use for this post. I had to search through hundreds of photos of women who THINK they are a diva, the majority of them were  bordering on being completely naked. Is the new meaning of diva also "whore"??

Every time any one refers to themselves as a diva I want to slap them across their face but don't want my hand covered in their 10 lbs of make up. Ya fake bitch.

Why the Hell would anyone want to call their child a "diva"? My child is NOT a diva, nor will she ever be allowed to act like a diva in my house! I hate the word diva!!! I've seen a lot of blogs with the word diva in the name, and to be honest, as soon a I see that word on their blog header, I will most likely click the big x and get out of their quick. I sure as Hell won't take anyone seriously that calls themself a diva. I want to kick anyone in the head who calls themself a diva. Twats.

F U Friday! In The Christmas Spirit!

I've been waiting for the Fawk U linky to go up, but I'm guessing Boobies is very busy, so I've decided to post my list anyway before I leave for the evening to head to my mom's with the kids!

Even though I should be showing some Holiday spirit, I've decided a Fawk You Friday would be much better!!

FAWK you to my husband's previous job for screwing him out of his last check! He didn't work for you for free, ass wipe! Hand over the $$$!!

FAWK you to my Droid X phone that isn't working right. I don't know if it's the phone or the SD card, but I can't take photos any more with my phone because it won't even save them! I also can't get to my gallery to see my old pics! Sooo now all of those photos are gone!

FAWK you to the bitch at the utility company for always being a fucking bitch. My husband just got off of worker's compensation and back to work after having surgery and being off of work for over a year, but yet YOU still refuse to have any sort of fucking compassion. I hope your clit falls off.

FAWK you to all of the places I've applied for a job at who haven't even given me a chance or at least a fucking interview. I didn't work my ass off to get my degree just to waste time, paper, ink, and stamps applying to 2450845780 different places! Give me a freakin job, people!

FAWK you to the freelance job I was "hired" for a few months ago. You promised me that I would be able to work as many hours as I wanted on a weekly basis and get paid $$$$. So far, I've worked a total of 10 hours in the past 3 months, and someone else seems to be doing MY work, but yet you can't have the decency to TELL me or let me know what the Hell is going on! Thanks for wasting all of my time and getting my hopes up that this would be a decent work at home job to get us through the Holidays with.

Ho! Ho! Ho!!!!

Have you ever given your child coal?

I'm sure most of us have threatened our children, right? Especially at this time of year, that if they are not good, Santa will bring them coal. It works for some, but not every kid out there. My 7 year old son, for example, has been a real handful lately. He lies all the time, even when I TELL him that I saw him do something with my own 2 eyes, he will say he didn't do it. He talks back, he doesn't do what he is told to do, and he doesn't seem to care what the punishment may be. It could be time out, standing in the corner, taking toys away...etc., he will cry about it for a minute, but the behavior just continues. I'm to the point where I really don't want to give him any presents for Christmas! I even told him today that so far, he has acted up every day since they have been out of school for Christmas break (since Friday) but yet he still expects to get presents? He stresses me out so badly sometimes and I really don't think the little brat deserves presents! I thought about putting up the gifts we got for him and telling him that he has to EARN them. I know that I would feel guilty about it come Christmas morning, but give me a fucking break! This kid drives me insane and no matter what I do, he just doesn't seem to give a crap. He even told my husband the other day, "you're not the boss of me!"... and he's 7! SEVEN!

Have any of you ever given your child coal or taken gifts away? Christmas only comes once a year, is tough love worth it? Would it be rewarding his bad behavior by giving him presents? Especially, when Santa is supposed to give all naughty kids coal? This kid is more than just naughty! He's a plain out bad little brat! Yes, I love him dearly, don't get me wrong, but he just wears me down. Bribery doesn't even work! Should I go gather some coal????

Spoiled By Technology

I'm again inspired by things i can't say, but this time it's a rant. The post was originally about Christmas gifts and judging other people's choices..etc. It started out with someone asking for ideas of what to get a 4 year old for Christmas on facebook. Someone left a comment talking about their 11 year old nephew and allllll of the bazillion things this 11 year old had. Some of these things included various game consoles, a 50 inch TV, an iPad and a Blackberry, amongst other things. This is where the judgement came in. Some people thought it was great, while others thought it was awful. Where am I at in my opinion? Well, I don't like to judge other people because I don't like to be judged myself, and it is their choice of what to give their child, but shouldn't there be a line? I mean, seriously, why in the Hell does an 11 year old need a 50 inch TV or a freakin' Blackberry?? Are you kidding me? This is where my rant comes in. Of course, we all like to "spoil" our children, but where do you draw that line? My opinion is that if you give your child every single thing he wants, they will not appreciate hard work, or their possessions. They will also grow up being snobs to people who don't have everything and will expect to have everything handed to them. Even if I won the lottery and could afford all of those things, I still wouldn't buy all of that for my kids. They don't need them. They need to be outside playing like kids, or doing something important instead of sitting on their ass staring at a TV or computer screen. If they want some of those bigger things, they should earn them, such as with doing chores or getting a job (another reason why an 11 yr old doesn't need a Blackberry, if he's not even old enough to work!). Teach them responsibility and what it's like to work for the things that they want.

Last Christmas, my son cut out pictures in an advertisement and glued everything he wanted onto a piece of paper to send to Santa. I explained to him that he most likely wouldn't get every single thing! Even if I could have afforded it, I still would not have bought him every single thing on his list, I don't think that is teaching him anything good. No one likes those people who think they deserve to get everything they want, so why would I want to make my child like that? Does anyone else feel the same way?

The second part of my rant: Technology is making people lazy and stupid. Ok, so I'm not a complete technology snob. I love my cell phone and my laptop. But guess what? I could survive without them. I may be disappointed but I would survive. People depend on electronics too much these days to do everything for them. A lot of teenagers don't even know how to do simple math because they've always had technology to do it for them. Kids aren't learning to use their brains, they are learning how to push buttons and have the answers given to them. Kids don't even know how to verbally communicate properly because they only know text messaging or instant messages. One day, my husband and I were waiting at a doctor's office. These two teenagers were next to each other, probably siblings, both of them had an iPad or something. They whole entire time I was there waiting, all they did was stare at their screens. They didn't once talk to each other or one another. It was like they were off in their own little electronic world. Technology is great for a lot of things and helps a lot of people, especially those with disabilities, but it's making the rest of the country stupid.

Lost Duggar Baby

Before I begin my rant, I just want to say that I am not in any way, making fun of losing a child. I know that it is a very traumatic thing to go through.

That being said, the big headlines for today is the story of Michelle Duggar losing her 19th 20th baby. Do they expect sympathy from any of us? Yes, the losing a baby situation is sad, but .. for her, really? I mean, she has spent her life being a human baby factory that often resembles that of a dog breeder. She has gotten rich off of her reality show, showcasing her 345081345 kids and getting knocked up every couple of months. Is she really that special that she can get knocked up that many times? Umm, no. Or is she a a few cards short of a full deck? I think anyone who has 20 kids is a little off of their rocker. Sure, lots of people love kids, but shouldn't there be a line drawn? If you have to have a freakin tour bus to take your kids to buy school clothes, isn't enough, enough?? Those 19 kids can not possibly get enough equal attention from their parents. They have the older kids taking care of the younger children. Eventually, the older kids are going to resent the whole situation. I've only watched the show a few times because I find it quite annoying. I mean, it's one thing if you want to have 5, 6, 7 kids.. but you should not expect your older children to care for your younger children. They are not just build in babysitters. I know a few families in real life that do this as well. Their own teenage kids don't have a regular teenage life because they are forced to stay home and care for their younger siblings. What kind of life is that? This country is already WAYYYYY over crowded, why make the problem worse?

I mean, after 19 pregnancies, her body probably just decided enough was enough. Her uterus is going to end up falling out looking like an inflated balloon. Give it up already.

Big Blog Rant!

Grrrr, look at this blog, just look at this crap! Blogger has somehow lost all of my photos/banner/graphics that I have posted or uploaded. Where have they gone? I know some other bloggers are experiencing the same thing but I've yet to find out what is going on or when this will be fixed. I'm gonna be really pissed off if I have to go through all 3 of my blogs and upload everything all over again. Ugh, really? this is NOT what I need right now, blogger! Get your crap together, NOW!!!!!

Soo, please don't let the lack of photos/banner scare you away. I'm giving it a few more days in hopes that blogger will fix this mess, if not, I will have to do everything all over. Blah.

It's OK: Part 1

I stole this idea from things I can't say . I thought it would be perfect for this blog. It's about not taking things so seriously. Sometimes you have to just sit back and say, "It's ok!" to do certain things that not everyone may agree with.. something like this:

It's OK to celebrate when it's time for your kids to go back to school. Anyone who has more than 1 child (and that are fairly close in age) knows how insanely annoying it can be to listen to fighting, arguing, and whining all day long. Enjoy the silence while you can get it, for your own sanity!

It's OK to buy yourself something nice once in awhile. Don't beat yourself up with guilt because you have 3 kids at home. They will survive and you deserve something nice once in awhile.

It's OK to get some YOU time, even if it means locking yourself in the bathroom, ignoring the knocks and "mommy, he did this!" until they go away. Again, enjoy every little bit of silence you can get before you end up in a straight jacket.

It's OK to have a sip of wine, or liquor, whatever is your drink of choice. Just because you are a parent doesn't mean you don't deserve to have a little bit of fun.

It's OK to miss the freedom you had before having kids. We all miss it. Ohhh, how I miss it. All of the travelling I did and the fun that I had. Soo many wonderful stories.

It's OK to think of the violent things you would like to do to your husband when he really pisses you off! Just don't carry them out. You get no liquor in prison.

It's OK to NOT be perfect in front of your kids. No one is perfect. NO ONE. As long as you are good to your kids, they will love you despite your imperfections. Don't beat yourself up about them.

It's OK to fart in front of your family and/or friends. No really, it's a basic bodily function. Why are we so embarrassed about it? Everyone does it! Don't lie!

It's OK to think more of your internet friends than you do your real friends. Honestly, most people suck anyway. Sometimes it's best to keep your friends at bay, behind a computer screen. People are assholes.
